My my My my

Welcome to Central Loudoun Little League (CLLL), where "Promoting the spirit of Little League Baseball" is our motto and our vision. CLLL is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization chartered by Little League International. Our league is funded entirely by registration fees, fundraising, concession profits, and sponsor donations.

CLLL prides itself on being an organization that teaches the values of teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play to all of the children in the community. With approximately 1,500 participating boys and girls, CLLL is a volunteer organization managed by a Board of Directors and operated by dozens of dedicated volunteers.

CLLL is affiliated with the Loudoun County Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services and the Town of Leesburg Parks and Recreation Department and a member of District 16 Little League. District 16's serves Loudoun and Fauquier Counties and their respective Little League Programs (Central Loudoun LL, Dulles LL, Loudoun South LLUpper Loudoun LL, Lower Loudoun LLGreater Fauquier Baseball and Loudoun Girls Softball).

We look forward to your family's participation. See you on the field.

CLLL Annual Membership Meeting and Board of Director Elections

This year's Annual Meeting will be held on Monday, October 16th at 7:00pm at Harper Park Middle School

All members are welcomed to attend to provide feedback or get updates on the status of the league, our capital projects and other league operations.  This is your best opportunity to get the big picture on how our league operates and to have your voice heard.   We also use this opportunity to elect our board members for the coming year.

The voting of the new Board is the right and privilege of every CLLL member, defined in our constitution as: “Any adult person who has registered online with the League as a volunteer and has had a satisfactory League background screening shall be considered a Regular Member for a period of one (1) year from the date of volunteer registration for voting purposes.” This includes all managers, coaches, umpires, and volunteer game coordinators.

Serving on the CLLL Board is perfectly suited for parents of young players, as their direction will help continue our League’s legacy for many years to come. It’s also a great way for family members who prefer not to coach or umpire, to contribute to their child’s Little League career.  CLLL’s ability to continue to provide Little League baseball to over 1,000 players each spring is only possible with the help of our dedicated volunteers, including our Board of Directors. I ask that you, please, seriously consider volunteering in this vital capacity.

To nominate yourself for consideration for the Board please visit the CLLL website and scroll down the left hand side for the link labeled “2017 BOD Nomination Request”.

If you are interested in the future of this league, please be sure to mark this date on your calendars and make plans to attend.

Please refer to the CLLL Constitution (link below) for any questions on Absentee Ballot procedures

At this time, Central Loudoun Little League and the entire District are at a significant deficit in our umpiring program.  There are future staffing concerns that will have an impact on our kids both in the regular season (already this year) and in the All Star tournaments (both today and in the immediate future). Our need far outweighs our capacity.  We need your help.

Please consider volunteering your time.  Umpire training dates are listed below.

If you have any questions regarding our umpire program or training, please contact robwright511@gmail.com.

The links above    are provided for you to register.

  • Anyone who plans to umpire for CLLL - whether just getting started or most experienced of the most experienced umpires amongst us
What:  Presentations on
  • Umpire Mechanics (covering fundamentals, signals, positioning for plate and field assignment, uniforms, and handling difficult situations)
  • Umpire Roles & Responsibilities (pre-, plate- and post-game conferences, equipment inspection, game scenarios/field coverage/rotations)
When:  From 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm
  • August 21st, 24th, and 30th - Umpire Mechanics
  • August 23rd, 28th, and 31st - Umpire Roles & Responsibilities
  • Good Times Park, Bohince Field
  • Every one of us needs to review and practice our game.  Please attend as many sessions as possible.  New material and situations will be covered each night
  • Several experienced umpires have volunteered to present these clinics.  Of course, everyone is welcome to participate and to contribute
  • If you have an umpire hat, mask, and indicator, please bring them
  • For the Roles & Responsibilities clinics, please bring a glove - we will be running drills with simulated plays
Questions:  Please contact Rob Wright at

As always, ALL UMPIRES - EXPERIENCED and just getting started. - are welcome to participate.  We need experienced umpires to come share their knowledge of the game and to help train the new umpires.

We are now using the new www.CLLL.org for daily field status updates. CLLL will look to post field status by 4:15 pm each weekday, and by 8:00 am each weekend morning after coordinating with volunteers that review Good Times Park as well as Loudoun County and Town of Leesburg Parks and Recreation Departments.

If you see green, the field is playable.; red indicates cancelled and a reference to "N/A' means game or practice time decision or the field status is unknown or yet to be updated by that time.

There are circumstances where the weather does not cooperate or changes after 4:15 pm on weekdays or 8:00 am weekends, so please use good judgement and stay in contact with your child's manager for more information.

For events on the weekend, even if morning activities are cancelled that is not necessarily an indication that all of the day's activities are cancelled. After further review of the fields, certain facilities may re-open later in the day.

You can always check school fields on the County rain line as well at 703-777-0456.
